The Kingdom of
Caid - This the Kingdom which is the home of Castillo Solaz.
Caid's geographical boundaries are Southern California, The Greater
Las Vegas Area, Hawaii, and New Zealand. Information and activities
are published the award winning monthly news letter "The Crown
Prints". |

The Barony of
Dreiburgen - The Barony of Dreiburgen is one of the founding
baronies of the Kingdom of Caid, located in San Bernardino and
Riverside counties in Southern California. Dreiburgen shares San
Bernardino County with the Shires of Al-Sahid to our north, and
Heatherwyne to our west. Within its borders lie the Cantons of
Gallavally, Mons Draconis, Sancti Geronomi, and Steinsee. |

The Shire of Heatherwyne - The Shire of
Heatherwyne is the Pomona Valley chapter Society for Creative
Anachronism (SCA). Heatherwyne is bordered to the east and south by
the Barony of Dreiburgen (San Bernardino / Riverside Counties), to
the west by the Barony of the Angeles (Los Angeles County) and to
the north by the San Gabriel Mountains. The Shire also embraces
within its' borders the College of Boethius (Claremont Colleges). |

The Barony
of the Angels - The Barony of the Angels is one of the founding
baronies of the Kingdom of Caid, located metropolitan area of Los
Angeles in Southern California. Angels is land locked by Altavia
(San Fernando Valley) and Dun Or (Lancaster / Palmdale) to the
north. Lyondemere (South Bay) and Darach Shire (Ventura / Oxnard) to
the west. Gyldenholt (Orange County) to the south. Dreiburgen
(Riverside / San Bernardino) to the east and southeast. Heatherwyne
(Pomona, Ontario and Claremont) to the east. |

The Barony of Altavia
is the area known as the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys in
the County of Los Angeles, and also includes the area north of the
San Fernando Valley to the Ventura County line including Calabasas
and Agoura Hills.

Introduction: Byzantium is the name given to both the state and
the culture of the Eastern Roman Empire in the middle ages. Both the
state and the inhabitants always called themselves Roman, as did
most of their neighbors. Western Europeans, who had their own Roman
Empire called them Orientals or Greeks, and later following the
example of the great French scholar DuCange, Byzantines after the
former name of the Empire's capital city, Constantinople. |

The Great Western War
- October at Prado Regional Park in Chino, California. All fighters,
artisans, archers, and merchants are called to war. Come and camp
beside the waters of the lake, stroll the grassy meadows, enjoy the
temperate climate and balmy winds of central Caid. All while war
rages around you. |

Estrella War - The
Estrella War XX will be held the week of February 11-16, AS XXXVIII,
2004 CE. at Estrella Mountain Park, Goodyear, AZ (near Phoenix).

Pennsic War - The Pennsic
War is an annual 17 day event between the kingdoms of the
East and the
Middle, regional groups of the
SCA. Alexander the Lost has a
wonderful site to indoctrinate you into the joy that is Pennsic
