Entry Policy

The site token issued at Gate is your receipt to the campgrounds. Be sure to wear your site token at all times. Great Western War participants must show their site token to re-enter the site. Without the site token, you must pay to re-enter. If you are requested to show your site token and do not have it at the time of the request, you may be escorted to the gate for a token purchase or removal from the site. Your vehicle needs to be similarly marked at all times while parked in the park grounds. You will be issued a car tag that must be displayed clearly on your dashboard. Without the car tag, the GWW security personnel will have the vehicle towed at the owner*s expense. Vehicles will not be allowed to re-enter without a car tag.

Trespassing

Trespassing is against the law and is a punishable offense. Gate crashing or sneaking onto the site is trespassing. It is an act without honor; the sense of honor is what our Society is built upon. There is no honor is committing the act nor in aiding the commission of the act. Anyone caught trespassing or aiding in the act of gate crashing, etc. will not be allowed to remain on site.

Alcohol / Illegal Substances

The drinking age in California is 21. OBSERVE this law. Anyone serving alcohol to a minor will be ejected from the site. If you do not know the individual's age don't serve them alcohol. Ignorance will be NO excuse. The violation of laws regarding illegal substances will NOT be tolerated. Before you violate any mundane laws, either while on-site or off-site, ask yourself, *Do you really want to be a guest of the State of California?*

Use the garbage containers for your trash. Police your site before leaving the war and deposit trash in dumpsters. Remember our SCA tradition of leaving a site cleaner than we found it.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours will be enforced from 10PM to 7AM in the meadow camping area. The area nearest to the fighting filed will have quiet hours from 1AM to 7AM.

Minors

A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 18 who are not legally emancipated to the war site. This must be a parent or court appointed guardian or the adult designated on the appropriate waivers signed by the parent or legal guardian. CAID has a specific Minor's Waiver requirement. If you have any questions regarding these requirements please contact a Seneschal in CAID, or ask your kingdom liaison to contact GWW or the Autocrats for information. These minors forms must accompany the minor and show the age of the minor at the time of the event if the minor is on site without the parent or court appointed guardian at any time.
Individuals attempting to circumvent this will be considered trespassing and appropriate action will be taken. This could include expulsion from site of not only the minor, but also whoever is *in charge* of the minor, or anyone who assists in the attempt.

Children seven (7) and under must wear the bracelet issued at gate at all times. All children under 12 must be within the sight or voice range of a responsible adult or older teen at all times. Failure to do so may result in sanctions ranging from expulsion from the site to notification of mundane authorities depending on the circumstances.

Parents are responsible for knowing where their children are at all times. Neither Security nor the merchants are responsible for unsupervised children, although security may return unattended children to their parent's camp. There will be no babysitting or day care services provided at this event, however, children's activities will be offered.
