Q: When is the Merchant Registration Deadline Date?
Because of the popularity of this event, pre-registration
is required. All completed Merchant registration packages and
fees must be received (postmarked by) September 15th, 2000.
Registration fees may be paid by Personal Check, Business Check,
Money order or Cashier's Check. Make all checks payable to:the
SCA Inc. - Kingdom of CAID. Do not post-date or forget
to sign the check or your whole registration package they will
be returned to you.

Q: I have not received my conformation postcard yet, are
all the merchant spaces filled?
Confirmation postcards will begin to arrive in the mail the
week of August 29th. If you provided an email address, you will
also receive an email notification. If there is an issue or conflict
regarding your space request, you will be contacted by phone
beginning the week of August 29th. We have plenty of spaces available.
Q: How many people attend this event?
From 1900 to 3500 people can attend the Great Western War.
Q: Where do I mail my Temporary Seller's Permit Application?
Please use the following PDF link to the California

to find the nearest office to mail your Temporary Seller's Permit
Application.
Q: If I purchase 2 or more merchant spaces, do I receive
2 additional site tokens per space"
Your original registration comes with 2 site tokens. If you
purchase additional merchant spaces you will receive additional
tokens, up to 2 per additional merchant space, for additional
staff identified on your registration form. Example: You purchase
2 merchant spaces and register a total of 3 individuals, including
yourself..therefore you will receive only 3 tokens.
Q: Can I ship my goods to the site?
No! We have no provisions for receiving shipments on your
behalf at this year's event. Please plan on shipping your goods
to a local cargo company. Any unscheduled shipment will be refused!
Q: May I request electricity for evening lights, my TV,
my grill and my coffee maker?
Electricity is scarce at our site. It is being allocated to
1) Food Merchants, 2) Merchants with low amperage requirements
mandatory to their operation (e.g. Credit Card Authorizations
via cell phone, low-voltage lighting). All other requests are
evaluated on their own merit. If you request electricity, you
must be able to identify the equipment you'll be utilizing and
it's electrical load requirements.
Q: If I rented a tent for my space, may I move it?
No! If you were not present when the tent was delivered, assembled
and staked down, it must remain where it is placed. All tents
are staked for high-winds.
Q: I don't have email or internet access. How can I get
additional information?
If you do not have internet access, please keep an eye out
for the general merchant news announcements via e-mail. If you
do not have e-mail, please give one of the Merchant Autocrat
Team a call and we'll fill you in.
