CORRECTIONS & AMPLIFICATIONS

It has come to our attention that some inaccuracies have been published in the Crown Prints regarding the
site for this year's event.  Please accept our apologies for this oversight on our part.
WATER - Is available from two operational water fountains and is very drinkable.
A third water fountain should be operational by event day.
There is limited parking, available in 6 lots/areas; therefore we DO encourage car-pooling.
ALL parking will be assigned. Read the Gate & Parking Procedures below for details.
Pavilion space around the list field edge is by reservation only!
Guest Kingdom, Kingdom, Barony & Shire reservation requests will have precedence.
Please send all requests for list field edge space to crown@dreiburgen.org.
There is plenty of pavilion space in the areas and gentle hills surrounding the list field.

BOGART PARK

The site is a beautifully groomed meadow/park situated in a bowl between the hills. The list field will be located in the middle of the meadow in two groups of 4 erics each with a 10 foot safety lane between them. A single row of kingdom, Baronial, Shire and official pavilions will be located around the perimeter of the list field. The gentle hills will hold the overflow pavilions affording each with a visual overview of the fighting arenas. The whole area has old growth shade trees. As a bonus, there will not be any cars in the field of view for most of those in attendance, including cameras. For those whose legs will carry them, enjoy a quick hike to the top of "Castle Top Hill" and view the event from on high.  For your shopping pleasure, be sure to visit the Merchants Row. Please note that the site is discreetly wet. Pets must be on a leash at all times.

Greetings from your Gate and Parking Coordinators, Baroness Ulrike the Frank and THL Miguel Esteban Franco de los Rios. In that there are six parking lots assigned to us for this event, we have instituted the following procedures to keep things running smoothly.

GATE, UNLOADING & PARKING PROCEDURES

As you enter the park, let the ranger know that you are there for the Crown Tournament Special Event. The ranger will give the driver of each car one ticket for each person in the car. Proceed up the road to the Event Gate location and turn left into the Pine parking lot. You may queue up in either of two lanes. When you reach the event Gate Toll Person, give them your tickets, show your proof of membership, indicate if you are a merchant or if you are disabled and pay the event fees. You will receive a site token for each person in your car and an event parking pass. The Pine parking lot Gate Location will be active from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon. After 12:00 noon, the Gate function will be relocated to the on-call shuttle table at Autocrats Point.

Remember, non-member adults must sign the waiver roster and pay an additional $3.00 each. If you bring minors and don’t have their membership cards, you will be required to complete and sign the Minor Authorization Form for each.

Continue up the road to the event site, where you will be greeted by the Parking Lot Attendant. He’ll ask for your event parking pass, ask a few questions and then assign you a parking space in one of the parking lots. This will then be marked on your event parking pass. You may unload your goods and gear at one of the unloading zones, after which we ask that you immediately move your car to its assigned parking lot. The back of each event parking pass includes a map of the parking lots. Note: Each parking lot will be assigned the exact number of vehicles it can hold. There will be signs directing you to the parking lots.

SHUTTLE VAN

To minimize the walk from the outer parking lots back to the event area, we will have a SHUTTLE VAN service operating full time from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A SHUTTLE VAN will be available on-call from 12:00 noon through 4:00 pm.

IDENTIFYING EVENT STAFF

All GATE, PARKING and SHUTTLE staff will be wearing checky, Tenne and Or (yeah, bright CalTrans orange and gold) baldrics while on duty. Many of the staff will have radios to assist in resolving transportation or parking issues and/or requesting a shuttle pickup.

[Graphic Image: Staff Baldric]

We ask that all groups break down their gear and pack their goods before they bring their vehicle into the loading zones.
