Queen's Champions versus the Queen's Guard Challenge Melee

,,,and it came to pass that the young Champion named Ulfr Grimmson did throw down the challenge gauntlet and issue a request that the Queen's Guard should face the Queen's Champions in a melee.  The Captain of the Queen's Guard did accept the challenge and Her Majesty Nuala declared that the combat would occur immediately after the end of court.
To wit...

...and the Captain of the Queen's Guard declared to all present that, "The Queen's Champions are in deed worthy defenders of her honor. Behold the the youth of Caid for they are the future."

A message from Bridget Lucia MacKenzie...  Thank you to those who helped run the Boffer Tourney: Kyle MacOwen, Muiren (Sam) of Starkhafn, Geneveve MacLabhruinn and of course, the inexhaustible, bounding-with-enthusiasm Robert Wright, Boffer Deputy of Darach.

Thank you to all who made the Boffer Champions challenge of  the Queen's Guard to a death melee happen. The Queen's Guard were armed only with their shields, and my strong admonition that they could NOT fight back! They cried "Turtle the Shields!" and we called Lay-on! The Boffer Champions made quick work of the poor, hapless Guard!
